This Dune crysknife – used by both Paul Atreides  and Jamis in the Dune Movies – has been carefully crafted. Cast in resin from a 2 piece mold (handle and blade) this Dune cosplay knife has a nicer feel than a 3D print, since it weighs more than twice that of a 3D printed cosplay knife (142g/5oz compared to 62g/2.2oz). As a resin cast cosplay prop there are no layer lines or print artefacts. The crysknife cosplay prop is then airbrushed with high quality acrylic lacquer paint from Scale Modeller Supply, weathered with a blackwash to bring out the details and then given a satin clear coat polished sheen without a shine.

The blade of this Fremen crysknife cosplay prop is blunt and so you cannot cut anything with this cosplay knife, meaning it is a consafe cosplay prop, but it will also make a beautiful display piece for lovers of Dune.

Each Shai-Hulud knife crysknife will be unique due to differences in shading and colour tone.
